4th Annual Anonymous Idol
Let your inner-diva SHINE!
12 contestants will compete for the title of Anonymous Idol 2012.
To enter, e-mail fundraising@livingsober.org and include the information below.
Contestant Guidelines:
- Personal Bio information (MUST be received no later than 10th)
- Hometown
- Prior singing and/or performance history
- Prior Anonymous Idol performance
- Sobriety date
- Something that people may not know about you that you feel interesting
- Your 2 numbers and why you selected them
- Judging Process
- There will be 4 judges who will use the following weighted judging criteria
- Vocal Quality = 50% of total score
- Recovery message in the music & originality = 30%
- Stage Presence = 20%
- There will be 3 finalists selected 2 from the judges scores and the 3rd who has raised collected the most donations during the evening (bring a friend to help you "work the room for donations)
- Each performer should have 2 songs
- 1 for qualifying round that should not exceed 3 minutes in length
- 1 for finals if selected that should not exceed 4 minutes
- Music on CD clearly labeled on CD (back up CD is suggested)
- Report time for rehearsal - You should expect to arrive at Ellard Hall to do a quick sound check @ 4:30 pm SHARP and to be comfortable with the venue and John C. who will be hosting Anonymous Idol. You will be able to leave and return my call time of of 7 pm.
